Private Instruction:

These sessions are scheduled in one hour increments with and NRA certified firearms instructor. If you are a novice/beginning shooter, this instruction will help you gain familiarity and experience with your handgun. If you are experienced and would like to hone your skills, these sessions will benifit you as well. 

                                          You will learn shooting basics such as:

                                                 Left eye/right eye dominance

                                Proper shooting stances - Isosceles/Modified Weaver

                                                              Proper Grip

                                                              Sight Picture

                                                            Sight Alignment

                                                  Trigger Control and Squeeze

                                                           Breathing Control

            After learning the shooting basics, you may move on to additional areas such as:

                               Safe handling of semi-automatic handgun malfunctions

                                                  Tactical magazine reloading

                                            "Ready position" vs. :Imminent threat"

                                              One hand/opposite hand shooting

These are live fire exercises with an experienced instructor.

The cost of this training is $30.00 per hour.

Prerequistite: Completion of the NRA Basics of Pistol shooting Phase 2 Course or current South Carolina Concealed Handgun Permit Holder.
